Shamrocks Strike Gold in Simcoe
The U13 LL2 Shamrocks travelled to Simcoe this past weekend to play in the Marci Cook Memorial Tournament. They finished first in their pool with 2 wins and a tough shootout loss against the hometown Simcoe Warriors. In the Semi finals they squared off against a tough team from Dunnville and they came away victorious. In the finals they had a rematch against the Alymer Flames, the team battled hard and played great defense to secure a 3-0 finals win.
The coaches are very proud of how far this team has come this year and we are looking forward to the upcoming league championship. Thanks again to all the parents for waking up early all weekend.
