Shamrocks are Silver Medalists in Oshawa
This weekend, the U11 LL Hespeler Shamrocks took home, silver medals at the Swindell‘s Classic, in Oshawa. After a narrow 6-5 loss to the Clarington Tigers, The Shamrocks came back on a mission and skated to a 16-4 victory over the home team, OCHL Kingsview. The third matchup was against Tavistock 1 and ended in a 6-6 draw. The Shamrocks and Tavistock 1 faced off against each other again in the C championship. The game once again ended in a 6-6 tie in regulation. After a five minute overtime period, the game was decided in a shootout, where Tavistock won, and the Shamrocks became silver medallists.
